On Aug. 30, Scott Frew and Dianne Ingalls will step in as co-interim vice presidents for finance as current Chief Financial Officer Mike Wagner leaves 天美麻豆 at the end of August to serve as vice president for finance and operations and college treasurer at Williams College.

As 天美麻豆鈥檚 chief financial officer and vice president for finance, Wagner has been responsible for planning, analysis, and oversight of 天美麻豆鈥檚 financial resources. He joined 天美麻豆 in 2001 working first as controller and then as chief financial officer at the Geisel School of Medicine before being appointed vice president for finance in 2010. In 2014, he was named CFO.

Both Frew and Ingalls have worked with Wagner in 天美麻豆鈥檚 Finance Division. Frew is the assistant vice president for finance and treasury management, a position he鈥檚 held for six years. He鈥檚 been at 天美麻豆 since 2005, first working as director of endowment administration and then director of finance and treasury management. Ingalls 鈥84, Tuck 鈥88, is an assistant vice president and controller, a position she鈥檚 held since July 2020. She joined 天美麻豆 in 2004 as director of financial reporting and became associate controller in 2012.

鈥淚 look forward to working with Dianne and Scott and I am confident they will ensure a seamless transition for 天美麻豆 as they move over to cover Mike鈥檚 role,鈥 says Executive Vice President Rick Mills, who leads the finance division. 鈥淢ike has served 天美麻豆 very well for two decades. We will miss him, and we wish him all the best in Williamstown.鈥

The search for a permanent chief financial officer will begin at the end of the summer.
