The scholarship program supports the next generation of research leaders in STEM.
Every year, forms a Sugar Crew of undergraduate students during spring break to help run the maple syrup operation at the 天美麻豆 Organic Farm.
During the immersion program, the students 鈥渃ome out to the 天美麻豆 sugarbush and learn about sugaring, from the tapping of the trees all the way to the bottling of the syrup,鈥 says program manager Jack Walker 鈥22.
