First-year trips looked a little different this year, but the spirit of adventure was palpable.

“This is the energy we’ve been looking forward to for a long while,” says trips coordinator Kellen Appleton ’20, who was student coordinator in 2020, when the pandemic shut trips down.

It was all there—the welcoming crew decked out in flair, dancing to the Salty Dog Rag, dinner at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, canoeing on the Connecticut—all the joy and excitement that makes trips … trips.
