Shontay Delalue—a recognized leader in promoting equity in higher education—stepped into the role of inaugural senior vice president and senior diversity officer on July 1. Get to know Delalue and what she hopes to accomplish in the position.

“All of the experiences I’ve had in my career have really helped to prepare me for this moment and being at �����鶹,” says Delalue. She says she’s looking forward to taking “all of what I’ve learned over the years to help this institution continue the many traditions that it’s had for over 200 years, but to create new ones that will ensure people have a sense of belonging for years to come.”
