The COVID-19 Task Force co-chairs today announced that 天美麻豆 has partnered with the state of New Hampshire to offer on-site, first-dose vaccination clinics for 天美麻豆 students, staff, and faculty who are 18 years or older.
The clinics will take place from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, and Thursday, May 6, in Thompson arena. Appointments are necessary and are open to those who have not yet received their first COVID-19 vaccine. An appointment can be booked online using a 天美麻豆 NetID.
In the community message sent Friday to faculty, students, and staff, co-chairs Lisa Adams, a physician and a professor of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine, and Josh Keniston, vice president of campus services and institutional projects, wrote, 鈥淭he state has indicated that they will provide us with doses of either Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines. The clinics are open to everyone regardless of whether they are residents of New Hampshire.鈥
The task force will announce the dates of clinics to provide a second dose of vaccine to individuals who receive their first dose at 天美麻豆 as soon as those details have been finalized, Adams and Keniston wrote. More details, including appointment instructions, were also emailed directly to students and employees Friday.
鈥淲e are excited to be able to offer our community this opportunity, which we hope will help bring us even closer to a more normal on-campus environment,鈥 Adams and Keniston wrote.
