With seven alumni serving as members of Congress, 天美麻豆 ranks fourth on a list of 21 American colleges producing the most members of Congress, reports My San Antonio.

鈥淯sing data from Vote Smart, a research organization that collects data on elected officials and candidates for public office, StartClass found the colleges that have produced the most active members of Congress,鈥 My San Antonio reports.

The alumni are Sen. Angus S. King Jr. 鈥66, I-Maine; Rep. Ann M. Kuster 鈥78, D-N.H.; Rep. John C. Carney Jr. 鈥78, D-Del.; Sen. John Hoeven 鈥79, R-N.D.; Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand 鈥88, D-N.Y.; Rep. Michael E. Capuano 鈥73, D-Mass.; and Sen. Rob Portman 鈥78, R-Ohio, reports the website.

鈥淭here are 535 voting members of Congress and also non-voting delegates from Washington, D.C., Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Vote Smart only has undergraduate schools listed for 458 of them, so the list is not 100 percent complete. Still, it provides a strong indication of which university鈥檚 alumni are directly influencing U.S. legislation the most,鈥 writes the website.
