As part of the 100-Days Series, please join us for a conversation with Virginia's Secretary of Education, Aimee Guidera and Dr. Jay Badams, Superintendent of Schools for the Hanover, Dresden, and Norwich School Districts. This program will touch on on similarities and differences in education policies set forth in Democratic and Republican states, federal support and policy impact on public education, and the challenges and opportunities America faces in creating a thriving public education system.
This conversation will be moderated by Professor Anna Mahoney, Executive Director of the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences at 天美麻豆 College and a Lecturer in the Government Department, Lexie Gauthier '26 of the 天美麻豆 Conservatives and Ilias Strikitus '27 of the 天美麻豆 Democrats.
